Early one March morning in 2007, three women packed, with fourteen others, into a poorly maintained and unsafe work van lost their lives when the driver lost control on a highway near Abbotsford, BC.

These senseless deaths sparked a province-wide review of farm transportation and a coroners’ inquest that gave rise to stronger rules, regulations and enforcement, making farm work safer.

The Golden Tree will stand as a monument to these women, the sacrifices of their families and friends, and as a powerful reminder of the consequences of unsafe work.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING…

very happy with the system

“The Hoolahoop system has given us an element of control with our website so we can easily add content and maintain the professional layout and design from Circle Graphics.  We are very happy with the system and have found it to be very user friendly.  The staff are qualified and willing to help teach the system so we can independently maintain our content.”
